with food, songs and presents. Provided by the Company/Senior Section and our Girls' Brigade.

The Junior Section have made some stop motion videos. Each squad made one. Here they are

Remembrance Parade 2018

Well done all our Boys on the Remembrance parade for a good turnout.
Well done to the Royal British Legion and marshals and all the veterans, uniformed adults and youth for a good parade.

This week our Juniors did cake making. Whilst one squad was in the kitchen, the other two played Street Lurking. Sorry, no picture of the cakes :-( .

Welcome to 2018-19

We have now started back. Welcome to our returning Boys and to those joining us from the 12th. We now have three much larger sections so we hope we can provide even more exciting and varied programs across the company.

In the Company/Senior Section We started with an Ice-Breaker and getting to know you evening with activities such as 'Electric Fence' 

and eating Chocolate

 (only if you've thrown a six and got the hat and gloves on).

Summer 2018 break

Following a BBQ for all sections together and their families we have now finished for the summer. Wishing everyone a good break, and look forwards to seeing you in September

Annual Display and Awards Evening, 2018

Last night was our Annual Display and Awards Evening. Each section showed off some of the activities they had been doing this year, and then were awarded the badges that they had earned.

Last night we took the Company & Senior Section to Grange Live Gaming in Birmingham to play Nerf War.

Battalion Weekend Away

Over the weekend several of our boys were away on the Birmingham Battalion Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association Young Peoples weekend away at Kingswood Centre, Shropshire.

A very full on weekend, but everyone enjoyed themselves.

72 Years of the 72nd

On 28th March 1946 the 72nd Birmingham Boys' Brigade Company was founded, 72 years on we held a celebration on Sat 17th March. We had a excellent turn out from across the years, with some of the oldest attendees being the first boys of the company. The celebration included a display of photo's, videos and memorabilia covering annual camps, band, activities, 1983 Centenary and much more. 

The quick change photobooth proved popular, using past and present uniform provided by Rob Bolton, at which the opportunity was taken to get a photo of the captains who were able to attend.

It was great to see the event attended by so many former leaders and member and was testament to the impact BB has on so many boys lives.

BBC Microbit Robot Challenge

All the work on the BBCmicrobit robots came to the test last night.
A straight drag race, a slalom and last one in the arena (square).
