Junior Section Weekend Away 2016

Our Juniors were part of over 80 Young boys, Girls and Leaders from the Birmingham Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association Battalion to go to Whitemoor Lakes Action Centre the other weekend and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Just as they did last year.

Our Juniors were part of 106 Young boys, Girls and Leaders from the Birmingham Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association Battalion to go to Whitemoor Lakes Action Centre last weekend and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Junior Section Weekend Away

Our Junior section boys were blessed to have an officer willing and able to look after them for this event.
Five of our boys went and like everyone else had a wonderful time camping, climbing, scrambling and archery. as well as making new friends

Camp was a Success

Camp was a success and the Boys and Officers all returned home safely, despite two incidents.
We will see if we can get some pictures to entice the Boys who didn't go to consider joining in next year.

Congratulations to Tim on his Advanced Outdoor Leader Training

Well done to one of our Officer's, Tim, on completing and passing his Advanced Outdoor Leader Training. This will be put to good use within our company as well as the wider youth environment.

Bronze and Silver D of E expeditions went well over the weekend of the
12-14 April.

Church Service - Footprints

Today the Boys helped lead the Church service. The theme was the poem 'Footprints' by Mary Stevenson. During the service four Boys and one Girl (From our Sister Girls Brigade) received their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Certificates - Well done to all five. The Boys are already planning their Silver expedition practice in April.
