Summer 2018 break

Following a BBQ for all sections together and their families we have now finished for the summer. Wishing everyone a good break, and look forwards to seeing you in September

Annual Display and Awards Evening, 2018

Last night was our Annual Display and Awards Evening. Each section showed off some of the activities they had been doing this year, and then were awarded the badges that they had earned.

Nerf War!

Last night we took the Company & Senior Section to Grange Live Gaming in Birmingham to play Nerf War.

Battalion Weekend Away

Over the weekend several of our boys were away on the Birmingham Battalion Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association Young Peoples weekend away at Kingswood Centre, Shropshire.

A very full on weekend, but everyone enjoyed themselves.

72 Years of the 72nd

On 28th March 1946 the 72nd Birmingham Boys' Brigade Company was founded, 72 years on we held a celebration on Sat 17th March. We had a excellent turn out from across the years, with some of the oldest attendees being the first boys of the company. The celebration included a display of photo's, videos and memorabilia covering annual camps, band, activities, 1983 Centenary and much more. 

The quick change photobooth proved popular, using past and present uniform provided by Rob Bolton, at which the opportunity was taken to get a photo of the captains who were able to attend.

It was great to see the event attended by so many former leaders and member and was testament to the impact BB has on so many boys lives.
